Origin of the name "Kiryu"
"Kiryu" is Japanese for "Metal Dragon", and since this is the only "fire-breathing" Miata that Mazda has produced to date I thought the name was appropriate.
"Kiryu" was also the nickname of Mecha-Godzilla 3, which ties in nicely with my "Goji" nick name.
