Fit and Finish:
The exhaust system is an absolute work of art.
The welds are gorgeous, the finish is beautiful, and every single bend in it is mandrel bent.
I almost felt guilty putting it underneath the car, but the neighbors don't like it when I drive at night with no exhaust behind the
catalytic converter, so I don't have much choice in the matter.

Installation was a piece of cake thanks to me having removed the exhaust about two weeks before hand.
I dropped the subframe, secured the loose wire that was attached to the OEM exhaust, and slid the new exhaust system into
the hangars and bolted everything back up.
I've seen the subject of clearance problems with a 3" catback come up on various forums. Well, I had 0 clearance issues, in
fact, it looks like the underside of the car could use a 4" exhaust system.
Didn't hit anything, and everything lined up perfectly under the car and around the rear bumper.

Sound and power impressions:
The sound was pretty tinny at first, After about 40 miles of driving the exhaust note deepened nicely and now it sounds pretty
darn good.
Nice and deep with plenty of bass below 4000 RPM, and then switching to a higher pitched F1 car-like sound above 4500
RPM.
The backfires are more audible then stock, it gives a nice burble on the over-run, and it doesn't drone on the highway.

Having driven the car for over 3 months straight, the exhaust has changed it's pitch and has become a little deeper then it
was, but not louder.

Having been running without a catback exhaust for 2 weeks before the Corksport system arrived, I couldn't tell any difference
between running without a catback and running with the CS catback... Except for the noise of course.
Plenty of torque down low (someone said I would lose torque... yeah, that didn't happen) and a nice increase in pulling power
throughout the entire power band.
The transition from pre-boot to boost is dang near seamless in it's execution.
The engine also revs more freely, and sounds great as it runs up and down the rev range (something my 1.6 Miata had it
sorely beat at, but not anymore!)

Bottom Line:
If you own a Mazdaspeed Miata, you owe it to the car to open up the exhaust system on it.
The Corksport system ranks on the top of my list for catback systems for the MSM for 3 very good reasons.
1: Its 3.1 inches through the entire system, making it the largest free-flow exhaust you can by prefabricated on the market.
2: The price is cheaper then going with a prefabricated 2.5" exhaust system.
3: It may be cheaper, but the quality of the construction is top notch. Mandrel bends only, perfect TIG welds, and it's finished
in beautiful 304 stainless steel, all while delivering increased performance and no exhaust drone while traveling.
